ABOUT US

KAFA- Khareema Advocacy for the Aged is a Ghanaian non-profit organization dedicated to honoring, supporting and empowering the aged population, one community at a time.
KAFA was founded in 2010 by Khareema Quainoo, a young Ghanaian actress whose journey into advocacy began with a simple but powerful act of gratitude. Raised and nurtured by a man who wasn't her biological father, Khareema experienced firsthand, the life-changing impact of love that expects no reward.
He once told her, " Many frowned on me for taking in someone else's child. They said there would be no reward. But you've proven them wrong-you've given me the love i never knew I'd need."
What began as a personal thank you to the man who raised her, soon grew into wider mission: to care for those who once cared for us. Khareema realized that many elders in Ghana, like her father figure, grow old with little support, invisible to the very society they once helped build.
From that realization, KAFA was born-to ensure that Ghana's aged are not forgotten but honored, supported and uplifted. Today, KAFA leads community-based initiatives across Ghana offering wide range of services and advocacy. At its heart, KAFA is a love story, one that continues to grow, reaching every elder with compassion and dignity.
